Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan joins Twitter

Many Bollywood stars like Prianka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Imran Khan, Priety Zinta, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, etc., have already joined the micro blogging site Twitter. But this time it is none other than Big B, the legendary the Amitabh Bachchan. Just after eight hours of his Twittering there are already more than 16,000 followers.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account name is similar to his son, Abhishek’s Twitter account name. While Abhishek Bachchan is tweeting@juniorbachchan, Amitabh Bachchan is tweeting @srbachchan. Well, at least that makes it less confusing!

“@juniorbachchan hey baby !! I made it on twitter !!! Yeeaaaaaahhhh !! … sorry.. just got carried away .. safe onward flight and love” tweeted Abhishek welcoming his dad on the micro blogging site.

Amitabh Bachchan is now following Sachin Tendulkar and Abhishek.
