Michelle Duggar Emergency C Section
There is no confirmed update until now that Michelle Duggar who was hospitalized for some complication related to her gall bladder has undergone C section to give birth to her 19th child.
On 8th December Michelle Duggar informed “18 Kids and Counting” Fans that she is doing fine. Duggar thanked her fans for praying for her and her baby’s health.
Michelle Duggar was taken to the hospital in an emergency for symptoms related to gall bladder. The fans who are anxiously waiting the 19th addition in the family mistook her illness for an emergency C-Section.
Michelle Duggar and her husband informed the fans through iPhone about the health of the baby and mom. She told that she is feeling less discomfort due to her gall stones and her blood pressure is normalizing.
As of the last news she has not been discharged from the hospital. Dr. Curtis Lowery who is attending the case (video below) was sure that baby and mom are safe and that the baby would not be born prematurely. Baby no. 19 is expected on March 20, 2009. As Michelle Duggar was pregnant with baby no. 18, just two weeks before the baby was to be delivered, it was discovered that the coming one is ‘transverse’ that made it necessary to deliver the baby using C section.
Cesarean section or C section is performed when a natural delivery may endanger the health of baby and the mother. The procedure involves making an incision right above the belly to the pubic bone and then getting the baby out safely.
