Rumpa is Lux Perfect Bride

Rumpa has won the crown and also got a cheque worth Rs. 25 lacs as the winning prize. It can’t be denied that it was a difficult task for her given the popularity of Priyanka on the show. Hitesh and Rumpa took “Seven Pheras” according to the Hindu rituals and got themselves tied in the wedlock.

The final episode was full of drama and it was supposed to be so when the biggest Drama Queen (Rakhi Sawant) was spreading her dramatic colours on the show. She asked Hitesh to enact his mother-in-law and told Rajbir to sing a song that he would dedicate to Priyanka on their first night. For taking part in the final episode all the contestants who participated on the show came together.  Pooja seemed a little uncomfortable. Obvious reason was Hitesh’s affinity with Rumpa. From the beginning of the show everyone thought that Pooja and Hitesh are meant for each other and would get married at the end of the show. But things suddenly took an ugly turn. Pooja, who was the strongest contestant for the show, decided to part her ways with Hitesh. This not only agitated Hitesh and his mother but also took away the chance from Pooja to win the crown since Sudeshrani (who won Mother of the Week crown several times and evicted Pooja) made sure that Pooja bears the brunt of her anger.

From the past few days the biggest suspense has been if Rajbir’s father would give his consent to the relationship between his son and Priyanka. Toda judges connected Rajbir to his father via tele-conference. Rajbir questioned his father for not accepting his and Priyanka’s relationship. Parjineder Singh (Rajbir’s father) clearly stated that he would like to meet Priyanka’s family outside the show and would also like the bride’s family to evaluate them likewise. He also suggested his son not to imitate what Hitesh and his family were doing. (He was hinting at the urgency in which Hitesh and Rumpa came together. While Hitesh was earlier involved with Pooja, Rumpa was attracted towards Gaurav. But when their relationships fell apart they both came close to each other on the directions of Sudeshrani.)

While Hitesh and Rumpa made the ends meet, it seems as if the dawn is still away for Priyanka and Rajbir. We can only render our best wishes to both these couples and hope they would have a rocking life ahead.
