Apple Announcement Live Event Coverage

Few hours from bow, Apple will be be unveiling what was rumored to be the iTablet. Major TV channels will do a coverage of the Apple announcement live event on Wednesday, around 1 p.m. ET. Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be there for the announcement.

Like an iPhone, the device is reported to have 3G and Wi-Fi connections and run applications available through Apple's App Store in iTunes. It's also expected to shake up the e-reader market by displaying books and newspaper and magazine articles on its color screen.
In an interview Tuesday with CNBC, McGraw-Hill CEO Harold "Terry" McGraw referred to the mysterious device as a "tablet" and said it will run on an iPhone operating system. McGraw-Hill's textbooks will be available for the device, he said.
