Both measure 66 and measure 67 were passed in today's Oregon polls. Measure 66 and 67 results show that Oregon voters want the two tax-increase measures.
Ballot Measure 66 would increase income taxes for high-income people earning $125,000 as individuals and $250,000 as a couple.
Ballot Measure 67 increases taxes for corporations and some businesses from the minimum of $10 a year.
Superintendent Rob Saxton said the district expects to get an additional $6.2 billion with the passage. That money will likely be added into the district's 2010-11 budget, though some services or programs may be added this spring.
