Loren has also won five Golden Globe Awards and received an Honorary Academy Award in 1991. She has won 49 international awards, including two academy awards, a grammy award and a BATFA; she is the second most awarded actress in cinema history behind Meryl Streep. Her prominent films include Two Women, El Cid, Arabesque, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, Marriage Italian-Style, A Countess from Hong Kong, A Special Day, Prêt-à-Porter, Grumpier Old Men, and (most recently) the star-studded musical Nine.
