Tyler Thigpen pulled a Willie Beamon today on Sunday 3rd January 2010 ,as he ended up playing for the Miami Dolphins, as replacement after both the first and second string quarterbacks left the game with injuries.

On his first series he ledthe Dolphins to a 61-yard touchdown drive on his first possession, closing the deficit to 27-17. Thigpen later threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Davone Bess to make it 27-24, but he threw a costly interception in the final minutes near the goal line asthe Dolphins were going for the go-ahead score.

Tyler Thigpen born April 14, 1984 in Winnsboro, South Carolina is an American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). Thigpen was drafted out of Coastal Carolina University in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft (217th overall) by the Minnesota Vikings.He is considered a dual-threat quarterback possessing powerful running abilities.
