Deaths feared in Carlton Towers fire in Bangalore

Dozens of people have been admitted to the hospital and at least two fire fighters were injured in a fire in Bangalore, India's, Carlton Towers. People being rescued from the Carlton Towers, Bangalore, where a major fire broke out on Tuesday evening Several people are feared dead, according to live news reports surfacing from the area about the fire that spread quickly in the building today. Many of the people inside were evacuated after breaking glass doors and windows to escape, but an unknown number are feared still trapped inside as fire fighters start to bring the blaze under control. The building, on Bangalore's Old Airport Road, reportedly caught fire because of an electrical problem. Many people panicked and jumped do their deaths from the windows of the seven-story building. According to hospital sources, 68 people have been hospitalized and as many as 15 of them are critically injured, according to The Hindu newspaper.
