Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I guess there is no point in reminding you that today, March 17th, Irish people around the world celebrate Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. At first this was a simple Catholic holiday, however, it became more and more popular due to whatever reasons and even non-Irish people celebrate this holiday, probably because it’s beer time and Irish beer is among the best in the world.

Irish and non-Irish people worldwide wear green outfits and come up with the weirdest and funniest celebration ways. Some of them are really cool as entire cities decided to join the party like Seattle, which paints the traffic stripes in green. Also the city of Chicago dyes the Chicago in green and it’s been like this since early 60s. Another city which dyes its canal in green, is Indianapolis, while Savannah dyes its fountains in green. Let’s not forget the Chadakoin River from Jamestown, New York which is dyed in green yearly on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Well, Google decided to come up with a doodle of its own and now you can see the Happy St. Patrick’s Day logo on your favorite search engine. Bing, Yahoo and Ask have both decided to join Google’s party and unveiled some pretty cool doodles. Check them below and let us know which one is your favorite! Also do not forget to share some Irish sayings or Irish quotes!
