Daniel Craig wants to resume Bond role

Daniel Craig, who played Bond in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, has disclosed that he is very eager to star in the next installment of James Bond Film Franchise.

Daniel Craig quoted as telling website Hollyscoop “The new Bond movie is on hold but I am chomping at the bit to get going on it as quickly as possible. “I love playing Bond – I don’t want to be away from it for too long.”

According to mtv.co.uk reports MGM does not have the financing for the as-yet-untitled twenty-third movie in the Bond franchise, so the project is currently on an indefinite hold.  That’s obviously not stopping Craig from being hopeful though.

“They’re completely panicked that if they go five, six years without a Bond movie, it’ll be over. They don’t want to kill the golden goose, an insider said
