Twenty-three states added jobs during the past month, and New York was among them, according to a report released Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Seasonally adjusted figures put Florida in the lead for job growth. It added 26,300 jobs between January and February, the only state with a month-to-month increase of more than 6,000 jobs.
