Gia Carangi took birth on Jan 29, 1960, in City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Gia Carangi left the New York City in the yr 1977 to start her modeling career. Her pro. career was started out just by accident. When she was in some disco club a photographer saw her and requested her to have a pic. In this way she got a chance to become a model. Then she started the bar dance and when her pics spreaded on different mag. there was no one to stop her and she started climbing the stairs of success in her profession.
Gia Carangi was a famous model of American in seventies and early eighties. Her parents are not pure American as her dad was Italian American and her mom was Irish American & Welsh ancestry. Gia Carangi was given a title of a 1st super-model afterwards this title was as well given to Dorian Leigh and Janice Dickinson.

Gia Carangi got AIDS. She was hospitalized for a long time and her mom looks after her there. But the AIDS spreaded in all over her body and died. She died in the very young age of 26. She passed away on Nov 18, 1986. Her funeral was held on Nov 23, 1986 in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. But it is really an awful that none of her acquaintances and friends or even the people related to her field attended her funeral. She did her last photo shoot before admitted in the hospital and she didn’t come on the screen in all her hospitalized period.
