CBS’ host for “Price is Right”; Bob Barker has made the headlines once again. Well it’s certain that he has made it to the news for his rescuing wildlife ventures, but this time it’s not to protect the zoo’s elephant family but a very different type of species of wildlife and that is the underwater animals that include whales, dolphins and fishes in a project titled the “sea shepherd”.
After Barker gave a fund of $5,000,000 to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the group was able to place the whale from Norway back into its spot in the continent of Africa. The agency reports that for the completion of the task the boat left the harbor of Mauritius in Africa accompanied by two Sea Shepherd ships named Ady Gill and Steve Irwin in the Atlantic Ocean’s southern side.
The main aim of the Sea Shepherd is to overpower the Japanese barreling in terms of finances, so that they may be able to become in a position where they could deplete the companies that indulge in whale hunting so that their profits earned at the end of the year may be reduced to a level where they face loss.
It is the first time when the Sea Shepherd has sent 3 sea planes on the vessels of Japan. The total expenditure of the ship that was contributed by B. Barker has enabled the ships to stay in the ocean for a total of three months (almost 182 days) without the need to be re-fuelled.
The jobs have been split between the two flotillas; Steve Irwin will correspond the movement of the aviations and also the choppers will be placed on it. As for Ady Gill, she will be utilized to interfere with the hunter ships.
