Jessica Dube and Bryce Davison break down to sixth place after Dube’s slip during the performance. It was the slip that could not have happened, but unfortunate for the duo Jessica Dube and Bryce that it did.

It was Sunday night when the Canadian duo Jessica Dube and Bryce Davison commenced their pair’s figure skating program, but unfortunately Jessica Dube stumbled just few minutes into the program, while attempting a triple salchow.

This was not the first time for Jessica Dube to stumble, while performing the triple salchow, last month during the Canadian figure skating Championship, she fell while performing the same move and then again in the training session just few days before their Olympic appearance.
The Chinese pair Shen Zue and Zhao Hongbo set the world record with 76.66 points, while Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy, the German duo were hot on their heels. In this scenario the margin of error was as thin as a razor Sharpe blade and Jessica Dube’s stumble coasted them dearly, when they tumble into sixth place.

After their performance Jessica Dube and Bryce talked to the media. Jessica Dube said that while in the air she thought that she would make it, but to her surprise she stumbled. She moreover said that, she want to put this performance of her’s behind and move on to the next.

On the other hand, Bryce said that Today on Monday they will go out there to Skate not for the Judges, but for the audience and for themselves. If audience will like their performance, the judges will like it too as people are the judges for them.

We wish them bet of luck for their Monday’s performance.
