According to the primary information, more than 6 million dollars have been received through mobile phone giving, which is the biggest donation through messaging, as yet.

It is very easy to use donate through the text messaging. Anybody, carrying a phone maintaining an account with some major wireless provider may text “Haiti” to 90999, for donating $ 10 to the American Red Cross.
